About Proctored Testing

To take your USU exams under the supervision of a proctor, that proctor must be certified by USU to administer exams to USU students. Use this system to find certified proctors in your area. Once you have selected a proctor, they must login to this system to access your testing materials everytime you wish to take a test with them.

By selecting a certified proctor and having them administer your tests, you certify that they are not your relatives, co-workers (of you or your family), or friends (of you or your family). Students who take tests under the supervision of proctors who do not meet our certification standards or who otherwise may have a conflict with the academic interests of the student could be considered cheating.

Can I Test at Home?

Currently none of our proctors are certified to test at a location other than their place of business. If a proctor states that they can administer tests for you at a location other than their place of work, please contact us to confirm. Proctors must be in your presence during testing. If a proctor says they do not have to follow these rules, please contact us. Failure to do so could result in an academic dishonesty violation.

Who can be a Proctor?

  • College or professional testing center staff
  • Full-time school or public librarian
  • Military education director
  • Embassy education officer

Relatives, co-workers (of you or your family), and friends (of you or your family) are not eligible to proctor exams. Current and former USU students are also ineligible. Proctors must provide a professional e-mail account and physical work address to verify her/his title. Hotmail, Yahoo, Gmail or similar addresses will not be accepted.
